Meet Fenesha

Picture
Fenesha Hubbard has empowering educators through K-12 professional development since the early 2000s. Her field experience includes being a middle school math teacher, instructional coach, workshop facilitator, and designer of professional development for NWEA and the Chicago Public Schools.

​
Fenesha’s career motto has always been “supporting students by servicing teachers.” She is passionate about creating authentic learning experiences and helping others grow. Her work connects research-driven ideas with best teaching practices, while keeping the learner at the center and humanity as the anchor.

Fenesha has worked in schools across the nation with a focus on math instruction and assessment practices. Her voice and work have been amplified at national and international conferences, and on educational podcasts.

Fenesha received a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s in instructional leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., a leading international service organization founded by educators.

Fenesha resides in Chicago, Illinois, and will always have an Akita companion by her side.
